vanhove14
I have a linksys internet modem. It has not been working great here lateley. It will only load about 50% of the websites I try to visit. I have tried restarting it and it only works for a short time. Does anyone have any ideas as to why the modem will load half of the websites I visit and not be able to load the other half while still showing that it is connected to the internet. MANEMAN
You haven't filled out your profile, so we have no idea where you live. It has not been working great here lateley If you reside in China, unfortunately you are experiencing "The Norm". Other than that, check with your ISP to make sure that they have not started blocking certain sites in your country. I have a linksys internet modem. You haven't told us the model ! We cant really do any decent diagnosis or give views.Check the Router/Modem Firewall settings.Try another Router/Modem.Check all wiring from telephone line to modem. You haven't really given us much information to work with.John. F Reed
I personally don't rate entry level Linksys kit at all, and would suggest trying a different modem

"Check the Router/Modem Firewall settings.""Try another Router/Modem."What exactly do you mean by "Entry Level ?"How have you ascertained that "Entry Level" equipment is being used ?John.
