undecypherable Posted September 18, 2003 Report Share Posted September 18, 2003 I have installed windows 2000/win 98 on my system but while playing audio/video files it plays in faster speed as compared to normal. i.e. audio/video files play a bit faster than normal speed. my system configuration is 866 Pentium III with 128 MB RAM.any help/suggestion/guidelines to fix this probelm or rectificationregardsmomi Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Agent Smith Posted September 18, 2003 Report Share Posted September 18, 2003 I assume that you are talking about Windows Media Player when you get this error. Perhaps you could confirm this. Does it happen in both operating systems, or just one of them.It sounds to me like you have a corrupted codec. Probably the first thing to try is to re-install your Media Player. Depending on the version you are using, you can download a fresh install from Microsoft.Also what happens to files played in other applications ie. Real Player or Quicktime?Regards. Mr. Mouse. undecypherable Posted September 19, 2003 Author Report Share Posted September 19, 2003 the problem is in all type of players like jet audio, realone, windows media players, winamp. to me it seems like my PC is playing files fast. and also the porblem remains same in both operating systems that i have installed.
