-pops- Posted January 12, 2011 Report Share Posted January 12, 2011 To the best of my knowledge, IE9 is still in a Beta version - that is development stage and should not be used as a general purpose default browser.Unless you are involved in development work, it may be best to wait until the final version release.What is the source of the download you are using? Digerati Posted January 12, 2011 Report Share Posted January 12, 2011 I agree with -pops- that IE9 is still in beta and it does still have some issues rendering some pages. Therefore, you should not install it unless you are willing to put up with quirks. However, it's development is very advanced and there's no reason it should not install on your system, if your system meets all other system requirements.Do make sure your system, including IE8, is working fine before installing IE9.
