greatyler
Howdy,I would like for my windows to be ungrouped.I feel I need to describe grouping. For example, if I have 4 chromes open and I open a 5th, it opens beside the others and they are all a little family. Back in the day, I could open new windows and they would stay in order. Combining on the other hand would be where they all chill on top of each other.Even better, but dreaming, would be if I could group windows at will. So I could put such and such 5 windows together and then another 4 windows together.FYI, I am a heavy window user, I have a triple taskbar. 20 Windows open is not uncommon.Thank You!Tyler P
MANEMAN
Hi there, and With 20 windows open at a time you are going to be far better off with "Multiple Desktops".The problem with quoting "Back in the Day" is that operating systems have moved on. (not always for the better when doing what you want obviously.)The way to go with new technology sometimes is just to embrace it, and find new ways to satisfy your computing experience. It can be annoying at times, - just like learning to drive all over again. After a few trips around the block though you can sometimes find it's a whole lot better than what you were doing before.Give multiple desktops a try. Here are some links. (At least one is FREE !)/>http://www.windows7.cc/windows-7-software/windows-7-virtual-desktop-manager//>http://www.sondle.com/resource/multiple-desktops-windows-7.asp/>http://www.dexpot.de/index.php?id=home (This one gives you up to 20 desktops. You can have a desktop for every window if you want. :) )Hope that is of some help to you.John.
