degslon
Hello,I have been using this install of 7 for about a month now and I have had no problems hibernating until recently.I am not sure why, but for some reason whenever I try to hibernate my machine it now simply brings me back to the login screen, behaving much as if I decided to "Switch user". If anyone has any experience with the issue or any suggestions I would appreciate them.Thank you.
-pops-
All the way back to the early versions of Windows, I have found the shutdown alternatives (hibernate, sleep and such) to be unreliable. They work for a while, perhaps, then seem to go haywire and not do as they are supposed. I just don't bother using them now, just shutting the machine down when not using it for a long period. My computer which I keep very clean and defragged, boots up in about one minute and ten seconds. What is the point in hibernation which can cause all sorts of problems?B)
