dvdb726Said: - I have some new Windows 7 64 bit computers at work and have networked up to our older 32 bit XP computers with no problems. My problem comes when it seems we get more than 2 or 3 people connected to the windows 7 machines from the XP machines, we lose the connecton.

Hi again.

You're a busy person today. :)

There are many, many reasons why this should happen. It is not uncommon.

Rather than go into a whole diatrabe and pretend that I have the slightest clue of what I am talking about, :P

I will point you in the right direction for your problem.

That's what forums are all about really. Not just answering questions, but pointing people in the right direction so that they can learn, and manage to sort out their problems to acheive some sort of self sufficiency within the computing community.

In the following article you will see how various influences can affect networks, and how I feel your problem could fit into some of those categories. (Especially Auto-Detection)

There is also a video guide in this article. (Yeah! Movies. :yahoo: )

Here's hoping that I've pointed you in the right direction.

**NETWORK PROBLEMS**

John. :)
