kismetk
HelloMy ant-virus reported a malaware had been dealt with. Now when I log in to my user I get an error messages saying that C:\users\me\Appdata\local\wdspng.dll failed to load. I thought I would create myself a new user from another administrator account and did this, but when I try to log into the new user I immediately get an error saying that the profile failed to load. Help with either of these problems would be much appreciated.kismetk
-pops-
Can you carry out a System Restore to a time before this happened?
kismetk
Thank you, yes. This has solved the .dll problem. Re. the user creation problem - I may not try again - it appears from my research this may be a Win 7/Vista problem that cannot be rectified. I can see the Guesttaccount again now. There are still folders within C:\\Users for all the failed user creations.
