linpin09 Posted February 18, 2011 Report Share Posted February 18, 2011 When I right click in Windows Explorer, no context menu will come up. It works in other applications, just not Windows Explorer. I have looked all over the internet to find an answer. Most places recommend downloading ShellExView which allows you to disable shell extensions in case a faulty shell extension is causing the issue. I've disabled all the shell extensions that are not part of the OS and after rebooting, it still does not work. Does anybody have any ideas what this could be? I don't want to have to go through all the trouble of reinstalling all my applications again. It appears that it may be my only option though. This was my last resort to see if I could try anything else before having to restore. :/EDIT: Also, it turns out that I do not have a System Restore point from before this issue arose. I've also uninstalled all the programs the were installed during the time period which this problem surfaced and it hasn't fixed it. Looks like I'll just have to reinstall.
