Rover
Hi I am using Vista and I have installed Virtual PC. I am using Windows XP on the Virtual PC, and it works, but I do not know how to connect it to the internet. My laptop I am on is connected to a router, how do I connect the Virtual PC to my router? I am emulating Windows XP, not Windows Vista. Thanks.
MANEMAN
Hi Rover, And thanks for thinking of us and coming here first. :) I've just had a quick look around and come to the conclusion that you are going to be better off using one of the "Virtual PC Forums". - It's gonna be straight to source in a few instances, - and they seem to be jam packed with problems similar to yours going back over a considerable amount of time.As much as we do not want to lose you from our forum, (Please come back again ) as far as "Fast-tracking" you towards a solution, this seems to be the sensible path to take at this point in time.Try these links:/>http://www.tek-tips.com/threadminder.cfm?pid=882/>http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Search/en-US/?query=virtual%20pc%20and%20vista&rq=meta:Search.MSForums.ForumID(48d5cd81-dabe-402d-8eb2-11ee47bbed9d)+site:microsoft.com&rn=Windows+Virtual+PC+and+XP+Mode+Forum/>http://www.vistax64.com/virtual-pc/John.
