NS2 installation problems

hi i'm trying to install ns-allinone-2.29.2.tar in windows 7 by using cygwin installer..

At the starting i got this message

NS2 is only shown as working under XP2 (SP2) and older O/S with Cygwin - so it possibly isn't compatible with Windows 7 ?
