Very peculiar problem with Chrome

I think Chrome is having issues with Shockwave. I try to use TinyChat with Google Chrome, and Shockwave crashes. It comes up with a window saying its unresponsive, and a window in Chinese with English telling me to close the program. I can watch Youtube videos fine on Chrome, though I have noticed some Advertisements aren't playing.

I thought it was the computer but then I opened the same TinyChat room on IE8 and it worked fine as normal. I don't need to use the TinyChat room now but its bothering me as to why Shockwave had issues opening it on Chrome.

Some more information, this happened the other day when a Virus infected the Computer. Norton caught and deleted the virus before it did any damage though, I was required to turn of the computer so the Norton could deal with the virus. When it came back on it Updated some things, thats when I started having the issue. (I'm not sure what the virus was now, but as far as I know it didn't get into the system. I think it was a .exe virus)

I can't seem to figure out this issue, what do you make of the issue?

Are you sure it's Shockwave, and not Flash Player (Youtube only uses Flash Player)?

What Shockwave Player version are you using (http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/)?

What Flash Player version are you using (http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/) - on IE8, and on Chrome?

You may just find the answer to your "Issue".

I don't personally have any problems with shock player or flash player, but then I steer clear of browsers other than IE. Just a suggestion, could it be Chrome causing the problem. I have heard rightly or wrongly, I don't know because I am not about to try chrome, that it can be difficult to uninstall cleanly. If you can do so, why not try uninstalling it and then using C Cleaner to clear it out altogether?
