Syd
I'm trying to edit my hosts file (Windows 7). I can open as administrator and edit it, but when I try to save, the original hosts file is not replaced. Instead, I have a new file, hosts.txt, saved while the original hosts file (not .txt) is still there, unchanged. Should I simply delete the original hosts file? will Windows recognize the hosts.txt as the hosts file then? Is there anything I can do to otherwise? Thank you, Syd
