MacP Posted April 24, 2011 Report Share Posted April 24, 2011 I have windows 7 starter on an MSI U135 Netbook. When I download SP1 from windows update it fails to install.I try the alternative route of downloading it from the download centre, and come across the following error when I run the .exe file "the data is invalid".Any suggestions on how to solve this? Unfortunately I live outside North America so I am unable to order it.I tried the other 2 steps the the previous poster posted but it still failed to install.
