nacknum Posted May 3, 2011 Report Share Posted May 3, 2011 I have been using my Vista laptop for about three or four years thats why I think the problem I have could be of the age of the laptop. I have noticed lately that my latop battery lowers significantly faster than it used to and it shuts down on itself before the warning of a near empty battery symbol appears and I've also noted that the meter for the battery is out of wack so I have no idea how long it will last until it shuts down on itself unless I move the cursor overtop of the battery symbol to see the what percent of batteries left and sometimes unexpectedly it tells me that its somewhere around 50 something percent and then it spikes up to a full battery.
