Texast Posted May 10, 2011 Report Share Posted May 10, 2011 Hey yall,I am new on here, so let me first say hello to everyone:) I am running Vista basic on my Compaq laptop. The other day my cpu crashed and when I went to restart it, it would not load windows. I went through the start up repair and it was unable to "repair this computer automatically". I tried to start it in safe mode and it didnt do any better. When ever I try to start it w/out going to the repair, it flashes the evil blue screen then instantly shuts down. I purchased the laptop brand new and it did not come w any disks...I was wondering if there is a restore or reboot program that I can download somewhere?
