CurlyWhirly
Yesterday I finally got round to installing Windows 7 on my new SSD drive - wow what an improvement in loading times !Anyway, let's say if my Vista installation failed (installed on a conventional hard drive), would I still be able to load Windows 7 (on the SSD drive) or would both operating systems be unavailable to me ?I'm asking because a hard drive did fail on me a few years ago and so it does happen.Back then I was foolish and didn't make backups.Just curious. CurlyWhirly
I just found the answer - I simply edit the c:\boot.ini file.
