Disable Windows Live Calendar notifications

How do I turn off the calendar notification function? I have Vista Home.

Open your Internet browser.

Go to the "Windows Live Alerts Unsubscribe" page :-
/>http://alerts.live.com/alerts/UserUnsubscribe.aspx

When prompted, sign in your Windows Live ID.

Click on the "Unsubscribe" button.

I did, and this is what I got:

Please sign up with Windows Live Alerts partners directly to receive their newsletters or other content updates from them. Hotmail Calendar Alerts and reminders will continue to be managed by Windows Live Alerts for the time being.
