miseryguts
I have a i7 920 o/c to 3.0GHz So far it seems perfectly stable, however the Core Temp load readings fluctuate wildly from 0% up to around 40% (but only on Core #0) even when i am doing nothing or just browsing the web.Where is the load coming from when the PC is idle or just browsing..? Thanks.
-pops-
Is this "Core Temp" an add on gadget - as I found by Googling, or something more fundamental to Windows? I have not heard of it before. If it is a gadget, I suggest you remove it and then use your computer for something more edifying.
Makcalable
Try using something like speedfan it is accurate for temp readings and fan speeds. http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php What are your actual temps from speedfan also? You should also use the CPU Meter Gadget that is in Windows this also give true readings of CPU Usage and RAM Usage, I have found.
