It is not waterproof, weatherproof or UV proof. It will deteriorate fairly quickly and pose a hazard.As posted by ellas, you can buy specialist waterproof cable, but either way, I would highly recommend that the cable is installed into some form of protective trunking. Afterall, it will be carrying an electrical signal!! I have to ask if you would be happy to run standard electrical flex round the outside of your house to run a television?? Probably not!And while I'm on the subject, NEVER use ethernet cable to connect two seperate buildings.
