Myst
I've tried to reformat Windows through the command prompt, at no avail. I got a message stating that the disc was still in use. I've also tried the BIOS suggestion but could find no option at all. And then I've tried reinstalling from a CD. Everything seems fine until I get to the blue installation screen ... It completely stops at Loading RAM Drivers. ... All I want is to wipe the hard drive clean and start a new Windows installation. Any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated. If required I could elaborate on certain details.

bludgard
Also, a neat little package (boot image, image burner and instructions) to wipe the drive is Active@ KILLDISK. Not promotin', but it does the trick. Let us kow how you get on.Oh: And welcome, Myst. :D
