-pops- Posted February 4, 2012 Report Share Posted February 4, 2012 A low level format will scrub the drive for you. A low level format fills the drive with zeros, overwriting everything else. The manufacturer of the drive will normally have their own utility for doing this or there are lots if you Google low level format usb drive.
