daydream1001
No idea where to go with this. I uploaded photos from my camera's memory card to my pc. I went through the photos and all was fine. The photos previewed fine in both photo viewer and Windows live photo. Then when I double click on some, they are corrupted. Where in the process is the problem, does it seem? Bad memory card, problem writing to hard drive, any ideas??
bludgard
These SD memory cards can fail rather quicly. If it has been used often, consider copying over the files and acquiring a new one. You may be able to write zeros to the drive/card in an attempt to regain stability. Then again, formatting in such a manner may very possibly kill the drive for good. daydream1001
It certainly could be the card(s). . .but I upload the photos fine, actually look at them on the computer, THEN the files become corrupted. I just don't know what to think.
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
What are the file types of these photos? You said the photos preview fine, but did you change these photos during the preview process (e.g. rotate). When you double-click on them, what application opens them? Maybe that application is faulty?
