hp laserjet p2035n loses network connectivity

Recommended Posts

Has anyone seen this before, We have several hp p2035n and they all seem to be having the same problem. When the printer sits for awhile without activity it seems to lose connectivity you can't ping it or get into it over the internet. The printer has to be turned off and back on again and it gets the network connectivity back. But once they are sitting for awhile you get the same thing. I thought this was a problem with just one printer but it turns out to be several p2035n's doing the same thing. Does anybody have a fix.

Check the firmware and if necessary update it. See here: http://h20000.www2.h...ectID=c02721624

Have you downloaded the latest drivers from the HP website ?

Contact HP and see if they have solved the problem yet. ( It has always been a problem from new with this model )

Unstated Operating System in your post: - So also look here: http://www.microsoft...s=64-bit&vd=all

For specific problems it is usually far better to use specific areas of search to fastrack for answers.

HP support, or something like this website: http://www.helpowl.c...er-printer/6381

The original manufacturer, or anywhere that you have a tight hub of many people using the same product, you are more likely to get faster answers to a problem.

John.
