Ninny
I have read a lot of threads on the web but none of the suggestions work. Why does a shortcut have a box 'run' and says maximized but it does not work? Can Microsoft simply admit that this 'feature' is broken? Why hasn't it been fixed for years? I know it used to work - I used it a lot (at least 8 years ago) and I could set this and then clicking the shortcut would open the application in maximized mode. But now on Windows XP Professional SP3, it fails. Can someone please help me figure out how to make this work? I would sure appreciate it. :)
MANEMAN
Welcome. I have read a lot of threads on the web but none of the suggestions work. Could you itemise the suggestions that you have tried so far from the various threads. This will cut down on the likelihood of a duplication of problem solving ideas. John. ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
What "does not work" - what happens instead? I know that worked very nicely when I had Windows XP.
