Tedaus
I recently had to format my Sony Vaio VPCEB4D4E and my touchpad has re-enabled tap to click. Last time, I simply went into "Mouse" options and "Device Settings" and turn it off on the "Tapping" section. However, this time, it doesn't give me "Tapping", just "Buttons" and "Overview".I already downloaded the Synapsis driver, but I have been using a USB mouse, if that makes any difference.I've posted on a Sony forum but the replies were sparse and didn't help. Can anyone offer any suggestions?
Hb_Kai
Mouse > Device Settings > check Disable internal pointing device... yadda yadda yadda should do it.If not you'll likely need to install the touchpad on/off utility and right-click the system tray icon to disable it via the right-click menu. You can also set it to not display on the system tray in the device settings too.
