BringMeASunkist
Here's me assuming this is a Windows OS problem because I'm not sure what else it would be. Lately, when I try to open typical image files, such as .jpg, .gif or .png, Windows Photo Viewer doesn't cooperate. Sometimes it spends forever loading and sometimes and crashes and I get the attached error.I don't know what COM Surrogate is but it is surely applied to the Windows Photo Viewer. The problem has escalated now, sometimes taking up to six tries to preview a file. As somebody who scans many photos to select the right one for work, this hurdle has begun to take its toll on my workflow in a big way. Any help to resolve this issue is greatly apprecited.
