Philosophaie
I have just got a XP pro computer.I am trying to network them. When I go into "My Network Places" in Windows Explorer and click on one of the files it gives me a Permissions Error. This works on my other computers: Vista and XP Home. How do I get "Permission" to view this remote file?
bludgard
Sounds as if the machines are networked. Is it one file; one file type or all files? What about folders?

Offsite I.T
Try right clicking the file/folder on the PC that is sharing the file/folder and set permissions under security? What is the exact error you are getting?
