Philosophaie
I have just bought a new Windows 7 Home Premium computer.I have it hooked to two XPs and a Vista via a router.I would like to retrieve files from my Windows 7 on my Vista as I can from my XPs. I can retrieve Vista and XP files on Window 7 PC just not visa versa. The icon shows up but it gives an old time login screen so I entered the User Name and no password (I do not use a password). This gives me an error in Vista:My Windows 7 computer is not accessible. I does not have "permission" to access it.In Windows 7 I did share all the files that I wanted in Homegroup (read/write)) but I guess that is for other Windows 7 computers. What do I have to do to be able to access my Windows 7 files from Vista and XP?
