stm
I have a problem, and I'm sure the answer's simple.Sometimes, but NOT all the time (so I suspect it's a setting I've accidently hit), when I make a new folder, or try to rename that folder, then the changes or new name doesn't appear til I've gone at least one step back in the folder hierarchy, and then come back in.for example: I open folder A which has 2 other folders therein (B & C); I want to change the name of folder C to folder D, so right click on it, and change the name.BUT the name on the folder doesn't change straightway but only after I've gone backwards to folder A, and then reopen it (when it'll show folders B and D).and the same problem happens sometime when i wnat to change a document name within a folder. Why? o why? and how can i change it so that it consistently changes once I've pushed the "enter" button
Irene
Hello stm, welcome to Windows Forum. :)Try touching the 'refresh' button (up and down arrows) on the end of the 'address bar', that should show your rename.
