Boris
For OP - Are you running this as an admin user ?Info. for anyone elsePromqry can accurately determine if a modern (Windows 2000 and later) managed Windows system has network interfaces in promiscuous mode. If a system has network interfaces in promiscuous mode, it may indicate the presence of a network sniffer running on the system.Promqry cannot detect standalone sniffers or sniffers running on non-Windows operating systemsPromqry http://www.microsoft...ls.aspx?id=1851.PromqryQI http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=16883
Blerina
Yes! I am running in administrator mode! The problem seems to be with the remote machine! It works perfectly if i check my local machine but not with the remote one!
Blerina
The remote machine is running Windows 7! Does this influence?!
Boris
Don't really know about Win 7 - take a look at the Requirements for it ? :- http://support.micro...om/kb/892853#14Also - because Promqry and PromqryUI both use WMI (and DCOM), the tools must have access to various TCP/UDP ports, including TCP port 135, when they query remote computers.
