adnmance
anyone use either nessus, secunia, or panda? panda said nessus was a trojan ---behaviorally i would think. secunia says ms visual studio security updates against remote attackers and system ddl stability are critical security issues. as far as panda, i've never used a cloud, or free cloud av before....comments? Belatucadrus
Panda cloud has a good reputation and has been submitted successfully to Independant testers. I have tried the previous version but found it a bit simplistic. I have not as yet tested the new updated version.Another free cloud AV is Kingsoft which has recently been relaunched after a sabatical, it's still a bit bare bones having no scan scheduling option and is much more traditional in operation than Panda, the signature files update in a very recognisable fashion. I'm currently using it as a back up to avast!, not something I usually do as having two AV can be a recipe for dissaster but Kingsoft says it can be used as a backup without a performance penalty and thus far it seems to be true. ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Windows Update should automatically update your Visual Studio installation. If Secunia says they are outdated, then something is wrong with your update configuration.
gasonlewis
When you use the panda antivirus, like the normal software anti virus instillation, you don't have the toolbar options and not changing the search provider options.
