clhamon
I have researched this quite a bit, but my boss wants me to find out any way possible. I know the answer probably will be to use Visual Basics, but that is not the answer they want.My problem:On a Windows Server 2008 domain controller, I can create a home folder that connects to another server without any problems. The problem is that the Windows 7 users (which is all of our users) can see the path of the server that the home folder is mapped to.This is an example of the network drive name of the new home folder:username (\\example.com\root\MyDocuments) (U:)The My Documents aren't stored on the DC. It's just a shortcut. Is there any way to use Group Policy to block the path from being shown? I know we have other mapped drives that don't show the path, but the home folder isn't set in Group Policy. I am at the last part of my search. If I can't find an answer here, we have to use a Visual Basics script...Any ideas?
