laazroook
..restore it and still nothing!!So a while back, a friend of mine used my laptop and had the smart idea of compressing all my files to save space on the hard drive and I started it up and the bootmanager went up in smoke..Since then I've tried countless things to remedy it using a windows 7 installation disc...- Unchecked compress hard drive box in c:drive properties- Typed numerous commands into command prompt like:bootrec /FixMbrbootrec /fixbootbootrec /rebuildbcd- theres no system restore points- startup repair cannot repair automaticallyNone of these options have been able to take the frigging "boot manager is missing" message off when I restart.Has anyone got a flawless way of restoring the bootmanager no matter how it has been removed?
