casey Posted January 13, 2013 Report Share Posted January 13, 2013 I have Win 7 as my main OS which has no problem but on my 2nd partition, also Win 7 I am having problems connecting to the internet.Seeing no way round it I replaced with an old backup thinking this would cure my problem, but no it is still the same - no connection between modem & server. Yet I can get on here ok & one other site but nothing else, can't even search. Why should one partition work but not the other?Any ideas. casey Posted January 14, 2013 Author Report Share Posted January 14, 2013 I think I have managed to sort out the problem by setting the DNS Servers manually as they were blank.
