Dord Posted April 20, 2013 Report Share Posted April 20, 2013 Ok, so I am having problems updating my computer. I go onto Windows Update, through the control panel and search for updates, it finds over 30 updates, when I continue to the next phase of installing them it freezes for an unspecified amount of time, at which it remains at 0% completed, then stops and gives me the following error code: 80246008. After some research I gathered some information that suggested that it was to go with my Background intelligence transfer service(BITS). i have tried to set the start type on automatic(delayed start), on which I got the error code "-2147024891", I then tried to choose manual and the same error code appeared.
