MrYeerk
I intend to install Windows 7 64-bit on an SSD. I have Windows Vista 32-bit full version and Windows 7 64-bit upgrade.Does anyone forsee any issues with installing Vista then doing a custom install to win 7? My main concern would be that Vista doesn't support TRIM.
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
You don't need to install Vista first; directly install the Windows 7 upgrade, it will ask for verification during the install process.
MrYeerk
Thanks. Will I need to edit the registry in that case?
bludgard
Thanks. Will I need to edit the registry in that case? I wouldn't fool around with the registry if one is asking about an upgrade....
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
It seems that you are trying to make this as complicated as possible...
