How do I run Windows6.1-KB958559-x64-RefreshPkg.msu (windows virtual machine) in my Windows XP SP3 32 bit machine? I have a VMC file (virtual machine) that I wanna run, and apparently it must use that application to run this VM. thanks

Extra info: I tried opening the file using VMWare workstation 9, but it required to convert the VM using VMware vCenter Converter Standalone Client. after conversion, the VM can run okay, but the windows XP OS used by the VM becomes deactivated and it requires activation.

Seems that one is trying to install Virtual PC (XP mode) on an unsupported OS (XP). Only Windows 7 Pro or above is supported as host to Virtual PC.

Sorry

Edit: VirtualBox (or the like) may be the answer here as the software is less restrictive Than MS Virtual PC....
