Raidy
My HDD shows activity (HDD light comes on) about once per second for just an eye-blink -it NEVER stops. The screen-saver kicks in but computer won't go to sleep. I am concerned that I am un-necessarily wearing out the drive. I am running the normal windows suite, windows 7 & the Norton suite. Any ideas? Many thanks,
Alan2273
You need to open task manager and look under processes to see what is using you CPU.To open Task Manager either press Ctrl+Shift+Esc, or right click the taskbar and left click start task manager. Under processes look at the line that is labeled CPU.
