True0gre
Hi I have a HP G6 Paviliion which i easily updated to windows 8 when it was released however yesterday whilst trying to download the new update from the store i had to restart a couple of times due to the machine freezing. Eventually it downloaded and then started the installation process which it has now done at least 10 times often freezing at gathering info/checking compatibility stages. Eventually it installed and restarted and got through to the new installation screens only to then be told installation was unsuccessful and it was restoring to previous windows version. What i would like to do is delete the windows 8.1 installation files that i have downloaded so to start afresh but can't find them. Any ideas?? Many thanks, True 0gre
