tom6251
I think my son's PC running windows 7 has a malware called xvidly, but I can't get rid of it It opens with Google Chrome; if I use IE conduit.com url shows up. Both browsers are running slower than normal with unwanted/bogus ads. I downloaded malwarebytes but that did not detect it. Is this a malware program and how do get rid of it? Boris
Xvidly is a browser hijacker, which is promoted via other free downloads, and once installed it adds the Xvidly Toolbar, changes your browser homepage and default search engine to search.conduit.com. Try using this Xvidly Removal Guide ?http://malwaretips.com/blogs/xvidly-toolbar-removal/See Steps 1 to
