I was re-installing XP on a computer earlier this evening and when the installation finished, whenever I moved the mouse on the PS/2 port of the computer the screen would blank until there was no more motion. Using the keyboard (also PS/2) did not have any such impact and using a USB mouse also has no such impact. Any ideas what may cause this? This is a work PC and while the issue is easily resolved, I would like to satisfy my curiosity as to what may cause this kind of problem. I've certainly never seen it before.
