andsome Posted October 5, 2003 Report Share Posted October 5, 2003 Just out of curiosity, I occasionally look at a message which is on the server, and can be viewed from Mailwasher. Some of them contain offers, or links to porn sites etc. Some however contain just a complete jumble of letters, but no actual words. Are these likely to contain a virus? I must make it clear that having looked at them via Mailwasher in text form, I delete them and do not download them, I am just curious as to why someone should send me spam, which only contains garble, and does not appear to be trying to sell me anything.
