cinque8
Hi, I accidently deleted my Recycle Bin folder. I do have the original Vista disks and a disk copy on an external hard drive, but I was wondering if there was a faster, more efficient way of recovering the Recycle Bin folder. I also have the Recuva software but I don't see anything that says Recycle Bin. Thanks! -cinque8
-pops-
I don't think you can delete the recycle bin. Do you mean you have deleted its icon from the desktop? If that is the case a system restore to a time before you did this should fix it - or, of course, a restore of the computer from your backup. cinque8
Yes, I deleted the icon from my desktop. I guess I will just do a system restore. Thanks!
cinque8
Pops, you were right it was just the desktop icon, and Microsoft had a solution. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/show-hide-recycle-bin#1TC=windows-vista
