Can someone please tell when the movie will release? Anyway, I heard Avatar II and Avatar III will be released at a time. Is it true? Belatucadrus Posted March 9, 2014 Report Share Posted March 9, 2014 According to this site filming on the next 3 sequels will start later this year, with the release of Avatar 2 currently scheduled for December 2016. Rumour has it that some of Avatar will be filmed miles down in the Challenger deep. Should be good but I'm not holding my breath and anything that grandiose in scope will probably suffer schedule slip so don't be surprised if nothing surfaces until 2017.
