MrAlex Posted April 5, 2014 Report Share Posted April 5, 2014 Hello, my name is Alex.A couple of days i'm facing numerous problems/issueses with my HP 620 Notebook.At first my keyboard stoped working .Then i could not connect on the internet trought WiFi,because my wifi was already dissabled (automatically XD) from my keyboard and now i connot turn it on.My Antivirus (AVG 2014) STOP WORKING and it deactivated, i cannot turn it on and also malwarebyte's is deactivated and i connot turn it on.I've already done everthing and also i downloaded the kaspersky rescue disk from kaspersky's website and burn it into a cd/dvd but it couldn't find nothing.What can i do now?...(desperate) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

MrAlex Posted April 5, 2014 Author Report Share Posted April 5, 2014 Nope :( .I've had to format my laptop and reinstall Windows 7 Home Premium x32, and it is the same.Now only a few of keys type from the keyboard and when i press windows logo button makes a beep sound...also when i'm pressing the wifi on/off button makes the same beep sound. MrAlex Posted April 5, 2014 Author Report Share Posted April 5, 2014 I've just finished installing all the hp drivers for my laptop. in somehow i managed to enable my wifi by pressing the button from my keyboard.Some keys works for example the windows logo button the 'g' witch tipes 'gt'.anyway.What can i do now? MrAlex Posted April 10, 2014 Author Report Share Posted April 10, 2014 before the problem with the keyboard occurs i've had my laptop disassembled and i removes that thing witch look like a circled battery(i think it is some kind of memory of laptop that remembers the time,date etc.) is this why my keyboard doesnt work? Boris Posted April 10, 2014 Report Share Posted April 10, 2014 It sounds like you have removed your CMOS battery ? (why - I cannot imagine !!) CMOS is the small amount of memory on a computer motherboard that stores the BIOS settings.The CMOS is usually powered by a CR2032 cell battery. If you have removed it, the laptop will not remember all the settings for the devices within the laptop. I am surprised that it works at all :lol: I suggest you replace it and restore all the default BIOS settings, and then see what else does not work ! Boris Posted April 10, 2014 Report Share Posted April 10, 2014 When you disassembled your laptop did you plug in the lead to the internal keyboard correctly ? Have you tried plugging in a normal USB keyboard to see if that cures the problem ? If it does then your laptop keyboard may be faulty/misconnected ?
