First post. We have installed a Kyocera MPF FS 1128 is the model. I set this up using a USB port. When we scan anything from the MFP is automatically comes over as a Bitmap file. I can direct this to paint the convert to a pdf and it saves that way. I need this to automatically save as a PDF. I have thousand of documents as we are going paperless moving forward. I have tried most everything you could imagine but can't seem to find this fix. Any help would be appreciated greatly.

Presumably you are referring to the MFP FS-1128 ?

Have you looked for the answer in the Operating Guide ?

Your post appears contradictory - your Title implies you want to save items as .jpg, but your content says "I need this to automatically save as a PDF"

In the Datasheet for that model :-

Under Print Functions it states - Print Features: PDF direct printing

Under Scan Functions it states - File types: TIFF, PDF, JPEG, XPS

- so there must be something under its configuration options to set this up ?

Have you tried asking Kyocera Technical Support about a solution ?
