Chris Posted October 11, 2003 Report Share Posted October 11, 2003 (please wait for images to load)When you are surfing the internet with Micorsoft's Internet Explorer, you may have a window popup telling you that "A Runtime error has occured". You are then given the option to debug. This "debug" is used by Website Designers to test webpages for program and script errors. And as a surfer it has no real use and can be annoying. You may also have a window popup telling you that a webpage contains errors. These errors can affect the way in which a webpage is displayed. It also contains the details of where this error has occured in the script. Again this can be annoying. (see pic below)However, you can actually disable these features as they are of no real use.To do this...At the top of the Internet Explorer click Tools then click Internet Options... Now click Advanced up at the top.Under Browsing click the box next to Disable Script Debugging and click the box next to Display a notification about every script error Now click OK and you will no longer recieve a message telling of you of any errors (see pic below) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
