Internet Explorer And Aol

Today I was asked if it was possible to use Internet Explorer instead of the AOL browser - the person concerned would like to keep AOL as his ISP.

I've never used (or seen) the AOL browser but I always thought it was Internet Explorer with a few changes to its looks to suit AOL.

Anyway, I don't know why this person wants to use IE but still keep AOL as his ISP, but is it just a matter of setting IE as the default browser? Are there likely to be problems of any sort?

Thanks

Pete
