Hi everyone. I'm planning to update my PC tablet with Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 by Windows Update. I found $Windows.~BT file and install.esd file and I would like to create ISO file by ESDtoISO app. So, I have 3 questions:
1. If I create ISO file from ESD file downloaded by Windows Update on tablet, could I install Windows 10 on every PC by this ISO or only on this one tablet?
2. When I was creating ISO file from install.esd, there was also created install.esd.orig file. What is it? Is it important? Do I need this file to install Windows?
3. Which ISO file should I create: "Create Full ISO with Standard install.wim" or "Create Full ISO with Compressed install.esd" ? I will install ISO from USB 2.0 pendrive on Pc with 2 GB RAM and 4-core Intel Procesor 1.4 GHz. Which ISO type should I choose?
Thank you so much for help and sorry for my English. :)

Hello and welcome to Windows Forum.

I think this link to a tutorial covers some of your post:  HERE

The following quote (post #536, page 54) might help with your second question:

Quote

If you open the install.esd file with the command, even just to verify the build number with option #5, it will be renamed to "Install.esd.orig" (.orig extension). Simply rename it back to install.esd (.esd extension). You will need to change your files and folders options to un-hide file extensions to see and do this.

Sorry, but I am not personally conversant with this process.  Perhaps one of our other members might be able to assist.

Alternatively, you could post your query at the end of the tutorial suggested above.

Could I install Windows 10 by ISO from tablet (Asus Book T100TA) on other PC (Asus K53E)? Will I have every driver?

Do you mean install Windows 10 over network boot? It requires the BIOS of your ASUS computer to support PXE network boot, and the steps are really complicated.

I suggest you use the freeware ISO2Disc to make a bootable USB flash drive from a Windows 10 ISO file. This is the most common and convenient way that will save you lots of time.
