peter e
TIP:For those who may not know this - A quick way of getting to your favourites folder whilst in your IE6 browser is to click Favourites on the Menu bar, then hold down the shift key and left click on Organise Favourites. This opens the favourites folder in a new window and you can then copy them or do whatever you want to do with them.Pete :)
Guest Shirley_Crabtree
TIP 2:Of course another way of saving your favourites is (when using IE and XP) to click on "File" then "Import and Export...."This opens up the Import/Export wizard and allows you to save both your favourites AND your cookies ;) Cheers.Shirl. Scarthy © ® ™
Yes, I used the export feature when I reformatted last September. The only problem is that you lose the Icons for the links (if they have them). The way around this is to use a program called "FavOrg". This program goes through the links and re-installs the icons - takes a bit of time, but worth it I think ;) Forget where I got it from, might have been PCA on the downloads bit...? :D
